Brandon’s Penne Alfredo

penne-alfredoAccording to my son Brandon this is one of my most edible meals (the cheek of it), he learnt how to make it in school a couple of years ago…ready in 20 minutes. Meal for 2.

‘Simply delicious’

Recipe:

100 ml of fresh cream

125g of bacon

100g of sliced mushrooms

Tablespoon of crushed garlic and chilli (optional)

30g Parmesan cheese

250g of penne pasta

Boil penne pasta 10 – 15 minutes depending on product

In a large non stick pan cook the mushrooms and bacon for 3 minutes, add pinch of salt and pepper. Add the garlic and chilli , cream and parmesan. Cook on low heat for 5-10 minutes. Add the cooked penne, stir through the Alfredo sauce, add extra parmesan when serving.
